Eating quick healthy breakfast foods is not as hard at is sounds. Usually my morning are a rush but with a little planning and careful thought, I was able to come up with some healthy breakfast food options, which ensure that my body gets all the nutrients it deserves.

To start with let me give you an idea of what exactly a healthy breakfast includes as well as to make sure that you are eating a healthy breakfast.

Protein

One of the most important things to include when planning a healthy breakfast menu is to make sure you have a high protein breakfast. If you are trying to lose weight you have to make sure that you are careful of the quantity of calories you consume when it comes to whole grains. Good healthy breakfast choices include muesli and rolled oats. Try and avoid foods such as instant porridge or granola as it is loaded with sugar and reduces the health factor involved.

When making a list of healthy foods to eat you should keep in mind that eating only carbs will lead to hunger pangs much earlier on in the day when compared to eating a healthy breakfast food full of protein. I have found that the best choice for me, when it comes to having healthy breakfast foods, is to stick to Herbalife protein powder and a glass of milk.
